<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal insulation hose as a drain hose for an air conditioner, which has excellent bendability and crushproofing strength and is capable of being manufactured easily and at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A hose main body 1 is structured so that a great number of annular protrusions 2 having a V-shaped cross section on its outer periphery may be protruded alternately for each of narrower and wider intervals than the width of the annular protrusion 2 on its base side and are formed into a bellows shape, it may cover a cylindrical foamed synthetic resin thermal insulation material 5 of which the inside diameter is almost equal to the outside diameter of the annular protrusion 2 on the outer periphery of the hose body 1, and so that smooth bending may be performed in such a contact state as not to bite the inner surface of the thermal insulation material 5 into the summit of the annular protrusion 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
