PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil for working aluminum, which gives sufficient workability, can realize sufficient removal of an oil in the step of removing an oil, and can prevent e.g. the damage to, an odor of, and the surface roughening of a worked material after working. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil for working aluminum contains a mineral oil having an aromatic matter content of 5 vol.% or less, a content of naphthenic hydrocarbons of 10-85 vol.%, an initial boiling point of 150°C or higher, an end point of 320°C or lower, with the difference between the initial boiling point and the end point being 100°C or less, and a kinematic viscosity at 40°C of 1.2-3.0 mm<SP>2</SP>/s.
