PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a raw material composition for a rigid polyurethane foam that has excellent initial foaming properties as well as improved flame retardancy, storage stability in the production of the rigid polyurethane foam through the aqueous foaming method using water as a foaming agent, and to provide the rigid polyurethane foam from the composition, a method for producing the rigid urethane foam and a spray application method. SOLUTION: In the presence of water as the foaming agent, a polyol component and an isocyanate component are allowed to react with each other and to be foamed to form the rigid polyurethane foam. At this time, as the polyol component, a Mannich polyol that is produced by allowing a phenol, an aldehyde and monoamine comprising a primary amine and a secondary amine to react with each other is at least used.
