PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an automatic cock is operated by mistake by the sensing of a return operation and an aimed water-spouting or cutoff cannot be conducted when a holding-out hand crosses the sensing area of a human-body sensor and is reciprocated in a short time in the automatic cock conducting the water spouting/the cutoff from a spout on the basis of a human-body sensing by the sensor. SOLUTION: The automatic cock 18 has the noncontact type human-body sensor 42R and a control section 41 controlling the operation of solenoid valves 40-1 and 40-2 on the basis of a signal from the sensor 42R, and conducts the automatic water-spouting/the cutoff from the spout 26 by a reaction with a human-body sensing/a non-sensing by the sensor 42R. The control section 41 conducts a control, in which the human-body sensing and the non-sensing of the sensor 42R is made ineffective, for a set time after the sensor 42R conducts the human-body sensing or the non-sensing.
