PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide USB connection equipment allowing the shortening of a time necessary for transfer even if an amount of data transferred to host equipment by communication is large. SOLUTION: This USB connectin equipment analyzes and acquires a file currently transferred depending on a capacity and a head address of transfer data specified by a data reading request from a host, from FAT information about a medium. Thereby, the USB connection equipment predicts the number of data blocks, and an address of reading data next possibly requested from the host, and reads the data from the medium to a transferring buffer before the next data reading request is actually transmitted from the host.
