The garment with an adjustable size, especially for growing children, has sliding clasp fasteners (31,32) at the shoulders and sides with the clasps (36) at the armpits. The inner fabric (35A) has a specific weight ratio to the outer fabric (30) of 30-70% of the outer material. In the smallest size, all the sliding clasp fasteners are closed, to be opened out into two further sizes as the wearer grows. Similar sliding clasp fasteners are at trouser seams to be opened out with growth.
