<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera by extracting a person in a photographed image so as to optimize an emitted luminous quantity of a strobe and automatically carrying out preliminarily light emission for preventing occurrence of red-eye. <P>SOLUTION: The digital camera is provided with: an imaging means for imaging an object; an extract means for extracting a featured part from image data imaged by the imaging means; and a processing means for applying processing to the image data of the extracted person so as to reduce the red-eye of the extracted person when the extract means extracts the featured part of the person. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
