<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communications system which can shorten delay times, until a multicast packet is received in a radio base station at a destination. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile communications system 1a includes muticast routers 20a to 20c, data link layer switches 30a and 30b, radio base stations 40a to 40d, and a mobile terminal 50. When the mobile terminal 50 has detected the switching of the radio base stations but has not detected the switching of the multicast routers, a path establishment request, a withdrawal request, and a path establishment request are outputted sequentially. When the mobile terminal 50 detects the switching of the radio base stations and the switching of the multicast routers, a withdrawal request is transmitted to the unswitched multicast router, after a path establishment request has been transmitted to the switched multicast router. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
