PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable controlling of reproduction sound level, capable of fulfilling users' request. SOLUTION: The sound system is equipped with a key input section 1 for inputting, in response to its operation, selection instructions for selecting one sound source from among a plurality of the sound sources, a microcomputer 6 that selects the sound source depending on the selection instructions and calculates a level differenceΔP between the reproduction sound volume level of sound information on a track that is presently reproducing in the selected sound source and that of the sound information on the track that is to be next reproduced and then adjusts the reproduction sound volume level of the sound information on the track to be next reproduced at an adjustment coefficient set according to the level difference, a level adjustment coefficient setting library 10, a level adjustment pattern generating section 11, and a volume controller 13.
