MOUNTING MEMBER FOR OPTICAL MODULE, OPTICAL MODULE, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF OPTICAL MODULE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting member for optical module which can fix an optical fiber firmly in a state in which the optical fiber is positioned and can keep the position of the end face of the optical fiber with respect to the a light receiving or emitting element always constant and an optical module which uses the mounting member for optical module and has stable optical characteristics and the manufacturing method of the optical module. SOLUTION: A mounting member 4 for optical module has a through hole for positioning an optical fiber 3 providing an aperture 6 for pouring adhesives. An optical module 1 inserts the optical fiber 3 into the through hole for positioning the optical fiber of the mounting member 4, and the mounting member 4 for optical fiber and the optical fiber 3 are fixed with the adhesives poured in from the aperture 6 for pouring adhesives.
