PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a flash unit and reduce the number of parts thereby, to make an imaging device small-sized and thin by reducing a pop-up angle of the flash unit and devising the shape of a reflection mirror. SOLUTION: The imaging device is provided with; a housing case having a lens unit 23 attached thereto; a flash unit 33 supported in the vicinity of an objective lens of the lens unit 23 so as to be able to move between a pop-up position and a storage position through a turning arm; a pop-up spring for popping up the flash unit to energize it to the pop-up position; and a holding means for holding the flash unit in the storage position. The pop-up angle of the flash unit 33 is set to≤20°, so that the flash unit 33 has a light emitting part turned to the front of an object when being in the pop-up position.
