PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an accuracy-defective article from occurring by making the pressing condition of columnar workpieces constant. SOLUTION: An adhesive 3 sticking to an end face W1 is removed by fitting columnar workpieces W into workpiece fitting holes 31 formed through a plate body 30, pressing the end face W1 of the columnar workpieces to a polishing sheet 6 side at constant pressure by using the elastic force of an elastic body 20 inserted between the plate body 30 and the tool body 10, and rubbing the adhesive 3 sticking to the end face W1 of the columnar workpieces to remove the adhesive.
