PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone conversation system in which a switching can be made freely between hands-free telephone conversation and handset conversation using an information terminal. SOLUTION: The telephone conversation system comprises a microphone and a speaker for hands-free conversation, a first sound device incorporated in an information terminal and inputting/outputting a voice to/from these microphone and speaker, a microphone and a speaker for handset telephone conversation, and a second sound device for inputting/outputting a voice to/from these microphone and speaker. The telephone conversation system further comprises a means for selecting at least one of first and second sound devices as the connection ends on the transmitting side and receiving side of a telephone line depending on a handset being connected with the information terminal, call state and an event in order to input a voice to at least one of the hands-free microphone and the handset telephone conversation microphone and to output the voice to at least one of the hands-free speaker and the handset telephone conversation speaker.
