The invention relates to a process modeling system and method including project-specific process instantiation, thus representing coupling of process definition and process data management, resulting in the available information being continuous from the general process description to action instructions for individual participants in the framework of a project in order to plan, carry out, and manage a corresponding project. The results and the documentation are made available to the project participants in a project notebook (4).
