PURPOSE: A preventing structure of foreign substances in an indicator and a slider is provided to smoothly operate a selection lever by isolating the inflow of the foreign substances through the gap between the indicator and the slider or between the selection lever and the slider. CONSTITUTION: An upper indicator(20) has an upper guiding groove(20a) to guide a transmission gear shift lever. An upper rubber(50) is forcibly inserted inside the upper indicator to limit the upper guiding groove. A lower indicator(30) has a lower guiding groove(30a) to guide the transmission gear shift lever. A slider is slid according to the control of the transmission gear shift lever by arranging between the upper indicator and the lower indicator. An upper shielding protrusion(50a) shields the gap between the upper rubber and the slider by protruding from the upper rubber toward the upper guiding groove. Thereby, the inflow of foreign substances into the transmission gear shift lever is prevented.
