PURPOSE: A device for preventing the theft of an audio is provided to prevent the theft of the audio by preventing an audio body from being separated from a crash pad assembly when an engine is not started. CONSTITUTION: A device for preventing the theft of an audio is composed of a key cylinder(10) having an insertion portion(11) and a cam groove(12), an operating unit(20) disposed at the insertion portion, the audio(30) fixed to a crash pad assembly and having a locking groove(31), a locking member(40), and a cable(50). A start key(1) is inserted into the key cylinder. The operating unit has an operating pin(21) and a support unit(22). A roller(23) is installed at the end of the support unit, and slides in the cam groove. The locking member has a locking unit(41) with a locking pin(42). Fixing grooves(51) are formed at both ends of the cable, and are fit into the operating pin and the locking pin. Brackets(52) are installed at both sides of the cable, and are fixed to the key cylinder and the locking member.
