PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display, and an electronic equipment having the same are provided to obtain uniform display of a wide viewing angle even if an active element is in a display area. CONSTITUTION: A transflective liquid crystal device has a reflective display area and a transmissive display area in one dot area. A plurality of pixel electrodes(31) and TFD(Thin Film Diode)s(13) corresponding to the pixel electrodes are formed on a TFD substrate. An opposite substrate is opposite to the TFD substrate. A liquid crystal layer is maintained between the two substrates. A reflective layer is formed at an area of the opposite substrate corresponding to the reflective display area, wherein the reflective layer extends to a position overlapped with the thin film diode.
