FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed four-stroke internal combustion engine has at least one cylinder with intake and exhaust valves, piston and cylinder head forming combustion chamber, spark plug, hydrogen and oxygen source and nozzle with pressure source. Piston is provided with sealed space with possibility of access into where intake automatic (self-acting) valve is installed, and also hydrogen and oxygen source and nozzle. Access into sealed space is made in form of detachably secured cover in piston crown. Intake valve is provided with cavitation device in intake channel. Hydrogen and oxygen source is made in form of electrolyzer with supply of current to electrodes from dc source.
