FIELD: electrical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed energy-saving apparatus is designed for connection to fluorescent lamp provided with two contacts on its both end caps for electrical and mechanical connection of this lamp to sockets and to ac power supply with choke coil and starter inserted in-between. This apparatus is specially designed to provide for energy-saving operation of fluorescent lamp. To this end it is made in the form of four-terminal network whose input terminals and two contacts on one end cap of lamp, as well as choke coil form series electric circuit connected in parallel with ac power supply, its input terminals being electrically connected to two contacts on other end cap. ^ EFFECT: simplified design of device. ^ 17 cl, 5 dwg |
