FIELD: wind power engineering; vortex motors. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed vortex windmill has building and vortex generators. Building is made in form of ground cone with its vertex pointed upwards. Vortex generators are installed over outer inclined perimeter of cone, being made in form of cylinders asymmetrically cut along axis, two thirds of open surface of said cylinders being working surface. Vortex generators on third quarter of building height change into closed channels directing air vortexes to blades at angle of 90o. Blades are connected with shaft by spokes, and protective lip forms working chamber. Invention is aimed at increasing power output by increasing dimensions and radii of blades, efficiency of windmill and reducing interruptions in operation of windmill at variable winds. ^ EFFECT: increased power output of windmill. |
