The present invention discloses an assembly of volumetric drums having wide neck for conveying the same, and which allows empty drums to be stacked, reducing costs and shipping space, especially in a transatlantic shipment since the drum body embodies a lower diameter at the base portion than that of the drum which is adjacent to the upper opened end portion. Said change of diameter is provided in order to abruptly expand the diameter of the drum body side for defining a step at the third upper portion thereof. Said step of the aforementioned drum side is continuously and substantially perpendicular in relation to the base plain and the upper portion of the drum. Due to the expansion of the diameter formed by the abrupt step and an upper flange of the lower drum opened end, the aforesaid flange is inserted into the expansion formed by a step of the upper drum side in order to support the upper drum in a stack manner with respect to the lower drum. The aforementioned avoids several dru ms to be stacked together so as to be nearly inserted in a permanent manner or raised with a substantial effort by means of two handles.
