METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OFFERING DUAL APPLICATION BY LINKING SMART CARD AND MS CARD INCLUDING PLURAL INFRASTRUCTURES

PURPOSE: A method and a system for offering a dual application using a card are provided to enable a user to use the applications matched with goods/services regardless of a card interface of a member shop IFD(Interface Device) by storing the applications to at least two storage such as an IC chip card and a server on the network with use of a client card including an IC chip and a magnetic strip. CONSTITUTION: The client card(130) includes the IC chip equipped with an application storing area and the magnetic stripe equipped with a magnetic area. The IFD(140) provides/installs the application to the IC chip of the client card, and provides the application or application information provided to the IC chip to the server(100) on the network. The server stores/manages the application or the application information received from the IFD. When the client card is used at the IFD, the server transmits the application or the application information to the IFD.
