<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the works from picking up to packing of articles into a collection box. SOLUTION: A case is shipped from an automated case storage and retrieval warehouse 16, the articles are picked up from the case in a picking up area 20 and are transferred to a tray 38, and bar codes of the tray and product number and amount of the articles are stored by stringing them. The bar codes of the tray are read by a bar code reader 34, and the articles are sorted by a sorter 32 and are conveyed to a work station 28. The bar codes of the tray are read by a bar code reader 35 on the downstream side of the sorter 32 and the corresponding collection box 44 is shipped from an automated box storage and retrieval warehouse 40 to pack them.</p> |
