Magnetic field generation system

A magnetic field generating system has a three-dimensional winding arrangement with three windings (1,2,3) arranged mainly orthogonally to one another and enclosing a machine or equipment item. Two windings/winding pairs/winding systems are fed with first periodic quantities variables at a first frequency (f1), and one phase-shift of preferably 90 degrees is set between the two first periodic quantities, and a winding/winding pair/winding system is supplied with a second periodic quantity at a second frequency (f2), which is less than the first frequency (f1).A successive switchover of these periodic quantities follows on the three windings/winding pairs/winding systems at a third frequency (f3), which is less than the second frequency (f2).
