FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed steam power plant with piston steam machine has steam boiler 1, piston steam machine 2, condenser 3 and feed water pump 4 hydraulically connected in series by pipelines. Piston steam machine 2 is made with water jacket 5 around its cylinder 6 connected by bridges 7. Inlet 9 of water jacket is located in end 10 of cylinder 6, being hydraulically connected with outlet of feed water pump 4, and outlet 11 is located at beginning of cylinder 6 from side of working chamber 12, being hydraulically connected with inlet of steam boiler 1. Steam inlet and outlet of piston steam machine 2 are located on cylinder 6 at its beginning and end, respectively. Cylinder 6 can be made with ratio of length of piston stroke to cylinder bore from 5 to 20, to provide optimum conditions of operation. Bridges 7 can be to spiral with increasing pitch from inlet 9 of water jacket 5 to outlet 11 to provide constant high velocity of feed water flow and guarantee minimum hydraulic losses and required amount of heat for warming feed water. Saturated steam from boiler 1 is fed to working chamber 12 where it starts expanding executing mechanical work when piston 8 moves. Simultaneously feed water pump 4 supplies feed water under pressure from condenser 3 through inlet 9 into water jacket 5. Feed water is heated with saturated steam, when passing through water jacket 5, to maximum possible temperature of steam in steam boiler 1. Steam is discharged into condenser 3 at end of working stroke of piston 8, and cycle repeats itself. Invention provides increasing of thermal efficiency owing to maximum heating of water getting into steam boiler by removing heat of saturated steam expanding in piston steam machine and partially condensing inside cylinder. ^ EFFECT: increased thermal efficiency. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
