TOPICAL COMPOSITION FOR THE TREATMENT OF NAIL FUNGAL DISEASES AND THE PROCEDURE FOR THE OBTENTION THEREOF.

The present invention refers to a topical composition for the treatment of nails and more specifically for the treatment of human nail fungal diseases, as well as the procedure for the obtention thereof, which is characterized in that it comprises from about 20 to 30% p/v of urea, 0.5 to 1.5% p/v of iodine dye, 1.5 to 2.5% p/v of salicylic acid and 1.5 to 2.5% p/v of benzoic acid, and procedure for the formulation of the topical composition for the treatment of nail fungal diseases, which is characterized for a) obtaining an urea aqueous solution of from about 45 to 55%; b)obtaining a iodine dye alcoholic solution of from about 1.5 to 2.5%; c) adding to the iodine alcoholic solution of from about 3 to 5% of salicylic acid and 3 to 5% of benzoic acid; d) mixing together 50% of the urea solution with 50% of the iodine dye solution and the acids in order to obtain the final composition.
