The present invention discloses a method for killing cockroaches, which is characterized in that it comprises home ingredients: sugar, onion, flour and grease, and boric acid as an active ingredient. Upon mixing together said ingredients a paste is formed, which results pleasant to the cockroaches, which consume said paste destroying the digestive system of the same. Said paste is used as an insect bait, killing all type of cockroaches, it further causes a chain reaction, i.e., when a cockroach consumes the paste it feels satisfied, then goes to the nest and die there; other cockroaches consume the rests of the insect and the effect continues until all the insects are killed, thereby completely protecting the room where the paste was placed. Said product has advantages such as: not being toxic, presenting a simple manner of applying the same, being 100% biodegradable, it is not necessary to move the kitchen furniture when applying the same, being an environmentally-friendly product, b eing cost-effective since customers acquire the product once a year.
