The transfer station for the transporting of skid frames from one skid conveyor to another has a rotatable track (1) for the transporting of skid frames between roller tracks extending at an angle to one another and has a stationary circular running rail (2) upon which is rotatably mounted a cross-roller track (3) with two intersecting roller track arms (4,5), the rollers (10,11) of which are respectively located in front of and behind a crossing area (12) of the cross-roller track.
