FIELD: medicine, abdominal surgery. ^ SUBSTANCE: dissected skin of periumbilical area with underlying subcutaneous fatty fiber should be separated against scar tissues of umbilical ring due to rhomboid incision within periumbilical area or umbilical fossa, moreover, large axis of symmetry of rhomboid incision should be placed being perpendicular against median line of the abdomen, then one should dissect umbilical ring due to rhomboid incision out of nondissected tissues of anterior-lateral abdominal wall, moreover, large axis of symmetry of rhomboid incision should be placed along median abdominal line, and simultaneously it is necessary to perform distal resection of the round hepatic ligament at the distance of 2.0-3.0 cm against internal contour of umbilical ring that develops optimal conditions to carry out operation upon abdominal cavity and abdominal wall. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency. ^ 2 ex |
