Devices (100) and techniques for coupling radiation to intraband quantum wel l semiconductor sensors that are insensitive to the wavelength of the coupled radiation. At least one reflective surface (150,15 2) is implemented in the quantum well region (130) to direct incident radiation towards the quantum well layers.
