PURPOSE: A thermoplastic polyurethane and shrinkable tubes using the thermoplastic polyurethane are provided. The shrinkable tubes are excellent in shrinking ability and reduce environmental pollution. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic polyurethane is produced by reacting 30-50pts.wt. of methylene diisocyanate(MDI), 47-65pts.wt. of a polyester polyol having a molecular weight of 500-3000, 7-15pts.wt. of 1,4-butanediol, 0.01-5pts.wt. of 1,6-hexanediol, and 0.01-3pts.wt. of trimethylol propane(TMP). The thermoplastic polyurethane has an NCO property value of up to 5%. And the shrinkable tube(1) comprises the thermoplastic polyurethane.
