PURPOSE: An impact tester used in a shock absorber is provided to precisely determine quality of products and to precisely measure variation of damping force by reproducing impact force as a visual wave. CONSTITUTION: An impact tester for a shock absorber includes a housing(10), a falling pendulum(20) installed in the housing(10), an electromagnet(30) for allowing the falling pendulum(20) to be fixedly maintained or fallen down, a guide unit(40) for guiding the falling pendulum(20), a fixing unit for mounting a shock absorber(1) thereon, and a control panel. Support frames(12) are installed around the housing(10). A safety cover is installed on a side plate. A motor(32) is installed on an upper plate(14) and a pulley(34) having a wire(36) is coupled to a motor shaft of the motor(32).
