PURPOSE: A method for providing user interface for controlling devices in a network of a distributed branch station, and a network device for performing the same, especially regarding to promptly select a required user interface by causing preselection from a list of all devices in a network is provided to simplify control devices to be connected with each other through set data links. CONSTITUTION: A user interface for a device to be controlled is generated. Devices in a network maintaining a data link set with the device to be controlled are listed in the user interface of the device to be controlled. One of the devices is selected from a list of the connected devices. A user interface for the selected device is generated.
