PURPOSE: A gas-radiation cooking machine and a control method thereof are provided to change RPM(Revolution Per Minute) of a combustion fan according to the change of primary air temperature even for the output of the same heat and correspondently to keep a high-quality combustion state by changing forcibly the flow of air. CONSTITUTION: A control method of a gas-radiation cooking machine has a step for classifying the grade of a combustion level in selecting a menu by a user and the grade of input air temperature based on the classified combustion level grade(S501). For the combustion level and primary air temperature grade classification step, RPM of the combustion fan is increased gradually according to the level of the classified input air temperature even though classified into the same combustion level grade on the same combustion level grade. The RPM of the combustion fan is gradually increased at one step more than a maximum value increased gradually according to the primary air temperature grade that is classified based on a subordinate combustion level grade on a high-rank combustion level grade.
