<p>PURPOSE: Dynamic replacement of the USB(Universal Serial Bus) data for on-the-fly encryption/decryption using a USB architecture/protocol is provided to transfer encrypted data/instruction to an endpoint from a security component and to the security component from the endpoint, and secure security of a device from different kinds of reprogramming or reconfiguration by using the USB protocol still. CONSTITUTION: A data request is received(410). After receiving the first data request the first data request is transferred to the device(420). After transferring the first data request to the device, the data is received from the device(430). After receiving the first data request, a signal representing that the data is unavailable is transferred to the security component(440). After receiving the data from the device, the data is encrypted. The second data request to the device from the security component is intercepted. After the second data request, the encrypted data is transferred to the security component(470).</p> |
