PURPOSE: A method for successively constructing concrete median strips inserting a wire mesh in the sectional center by a slip form method without a form and a device thereof are provided to prevent a secondary accident by suppressing scatter of broken pieces although the median strip is broken by the impact of a traveling vehicle and to minimize the use of manpower and materials. CONSTITUTION: In a device for successively constructing concrete median strips(3) having a wire mesh(12) in the sectional center by a slip form method without a form, a compacting chamber(6) for compacting mortar(8) on the bottom of a hopper(7) for mortar, and a slip form for constructing the concrete median on the ground of an expressway without a form, with the compacted mortar are integrated with the hopper by a front wall(6') and side walls(6'') of the compacting chamber and side walls(5') of the slip form. A wire mesh guide pipe is longitudinally installed inside the slip form and the compacting chamber. The front end(11) of the wire mesh guide pipe is projected out of the front wall of the compacting chamber. The wire mesh suspended to a suspension rod(13) is laid in the mortar for forming the median strips in a state of being inserted in the wire mesh guide pipe when the slip form is slowly moved forward together with the hopper.
