摘要

PURPOSE: A network for utilizing session initiation protocol for identifying user equipment resource reservation/setup protocol capabilities, particularly concerned with providing an apparatus for defining and exchanging RSVP capabilities of a UE and a GGSN is provided to enable RSVP-capable UE and GGSN(Gateway GPRS Support Node) to mutually inform RSVP(Resource Reservation Protocol) capabilities before communication is generated by using RSVP. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus includes an originating network device for communication with an originating user equipment and a terminating network device for communication with a terminating user equipment. The apparatus performs the communication using FDDCDMA(Frequency Division Duplex Code Division Multiple Access). The originating network device includes a unit using an SIP(Session Initiating Protocol) to represent an intended QoS(Quality of Service) responding to a call set procedure. The terminating network device includes a unit responding to the SIP in the case that the terminating network device can support the intended QoS, and another unit rejecting the call in the case that the terminating network device and the terminating network device can not support the intended QoS.
