The device has a spring plate fixed to a back deck (1) for pushing a lock (4) to lock a blade (3) of a knife. The lock slides in rectangular holes of the back deck and a front deck that laterally guide the blade. A cylindrical pin is fixed in the decks to limit the opening of the blade. The blade can turn around a pivot (5) when the lock is in the back deck and the blade is immobilized when the lock is in the front deck.
