PURPOSE: Provided is a photoluminescent tile, which has high luminance of incidental light and maintains the color and pattern of a tile itself while emitting light in the dark. A method for manufacturing the photoluminescent tile is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The photoluminescent tile is obtained by the method comprising the steps of: dry mixing 50-90 wt% of a photoluminescent phosphor consisting of a compound represented by the formula of MAl2O4 (wherein M is a metal element) as a parent crystal with 10-50 wt% of frit to form a photoluminescent glaze powder(3); applying or filling the powder(3) on or in a tile(1); and firing the tile at 500-1200 deg.C. In the compound as a parent crystal, M is a metal selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr, Ba and alloys thereof.
