COMPUTER-AIDED FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING SYSTEM THROUGH SENTENCE TYPEWRITING USING HINT PORTFOLIO AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A computer-aided foreign language learning system through sentence typewriting using a hint portfolio and a method thereof are provided to enable a learner to type a perfect sentence by offering a hint depending on a changing difficulty. CONSTITUTION: A sentence database(110) stores more than one initial sentence data and multiple hint data respectively related to the initial sentence data. A hint module(120) determines/outputs a combination of the hint data according to a current difficulty level. An input reception module(130) receives the sentence inputted by typewriting of the learner. A result comparing module(140) outputs a comparison result after comparing the input sentence with the initial sentence of the sentence database in real-time. A difficulty level adjusting module(150) determines the difficulty level depending on the comparison result and transfers the difficulty level to the hint module.
