MOBILE TERMINAL USING FUNCTIONAL EXTENSIBLE PACK AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, ENABLING USER TO EASILY CHANGE PREVIOUSLY STORED INFORMATION AND USE NEW CONTENTS WITH OUTMODED MOBILE TERMINAL

摘要

PURPOSE: A mobile terminal using a function extensible pack and its control method are provided to allow a user to easily change previously stored information and use new contents with an outmoded mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A fixing frame(300) includes two rectangular recesses at a front surface, in which a dual battery(100) and a functional pack(200) are mounted, and is mounted in a back case(500) of a mobile terminal. The function pack(200) includes a specific function to be added to the mobile terminal and mounted in the fixing frame(300). A connection jack(400) connects a main body(600) of the mobile terminal and the fixing frame(300). A controller positioned inside the main body(600) of the mobile terminal determines whether the function pack(200) is mounted or not through the connection jack(400) and controls a general operation.
