PURPOSE: An apparatus for amplifying a TDD(Time Division Duplex) radio signal by using a time difference is provided to reduce power consumption by amplifying a detected radio signal according to a corresponding time interval. CONSTITUTION: The first and second switches(11,11') switch a radio signal suitable for a corresponding path according to a control signal outputted from a radio signal detector(14) and input/output it. The first and second receiving/amplifying units(12,12') cancel noise of the radio signal inputted through the first and second switches(11,11') and amplify the radio signal to a certain level. The first and second amplifiers(13,13') amplify the radio signal that has been amplified in the first and second receiving/amplifying units(12,12'). The radio signal detector(14) detects whether the radio signal amplified in the first and second receiving/amplifying units(12,12') is a transmission signal or a reception signal by using a time interval of a transmission signal and a reception signal in a TDD method, and outputs a control signal for a transmission/reception path and amplification of the detected radio signal to the first and second switches(11,11') and to the first and second amplifiers(13,13'). A power supply unit(15) supplies DC power to each block.
