PURPOSE: A system for managing services offered by collaborated electronic communication units, and method, and communication unit, and IC for the same are provided to realize the service that information is collaboratively shared with the electronic communication units. CONSTITUTION: The system provides the service by using the communication units(10-30) connected to the network(40) and executing applications through collaboration. Each communication unit includes a dependence table definer, a dependent application identifier, a termination requestor, and a dependent application terminator. The dependence table definer defines dependence between applications executed by the communication unit. The dependent application identifier identifies the dependent application to be terminated next by referring to the dependence table when the executed application is terminated. The termination requestor requests the communication unit executing the identified dependent application to terminate the application. The dependent application terminator terminates the application by receiving a request from other communication unit.
