PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyan toner excellent in light resistance as well as in stability of a charged state, environmental stability, coloring power, sharpness, transparency and color reproducibility by color mixture with other colors (superposition), and to further provide a cyan toner which gives consideration even to safety and health and the problem of environmental pollution because halogen is not contained. SOLUTION: In the electrostatic charge image developing cyan toner containing at least a binder resin and a colorant, the binder resin comprises a hydrogenated petroleum resin having a hydrogenation rate of≥50% and a styrenic polymer, the colorant is obtained by mixing a halogen-free phthalocyanine blue pigment (B) and a halogen-free benzimidazolone yellow pigment (Y), and the benzimidazolone yellow pigment (Y) is mixed in a proportion of 1-6 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the phthalocyanine blue pigment (B).
