PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption by a back light as little as possible. SOLUTION: When it is determined that a casing is closed and a state under a mail operation is then determined (steps S1, S2), only a portion of back lights on a display part is turned on (step S4) by a control circuit. When it is determined that an mail end is instructed (step S5), the mail operation is finished and the back lights are turned off (steps S6, S7). When it is determined that the casing is opened without the instructing operation of the mail end (step S8), the control circuit controls all back lights on the display part to be turned on (step S9).
