PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which suppresses the occurrence of a failure of video recording in reserved video recording. SOLUTION: An optical disk device 1 stores recording reservation data which is recording reservation data inputted to a main body and is not requested to be determined to the main body and is undetermined recording reservation data, as undermined recording reservation data. The optical disk device 1 discriminates whether undetermined recording reservation data stored in the main body is incomplete recording reservation data lacking necessary information such as a recording start time, a recording end time, or a channel to be recorded or not, and this recording reservation data is determined unless being incomplete recording reservation data. Consequently, video recording based on recording reservation data is performed even when a user forgets to perform determination operation for validating the recording reservation data inputted to the main body.
