PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly responsive light receiving circuit where the selection of light receiving elements is not limited and a highly responsive light quantity stabilizing circuit where the stability of light quantity is improved, the fluctuation of light outputs is prevented, and any special circuit or the like is not necessary; and to improve picture quality by improving the light quantity stability of light outputs and the responsiveness of the light receiving elements. SOLUTION: This light receiving circuit is provided with a light receiving element 16, a light diffusing member 14 arranged on the optical path of the front face of the light receiving element for diffusing incident lights, and a member 15 arranged between the light receiving element and the light diffusing member for stopping lights from the light diffusing member to the light receiving face of the light receiving element.
