PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flap open device 26 for a case 11 for automatically opening a flap 14 when the case 11 is closed. SOLUTION: The hook 76 of a pair of hook devices 71 is inserted between the tip ends of flaps 14 on both sides folded in a closed condition on the top face of a case 11. The hook 76 catches the tip end of the flap 14 by a hook switching cylinder 75. A hook open/close cylinder 77 rotates the hook 76 from a flap 14 close position to a flap 14 open position.
