PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out sealing between a wheel speed sensor and a support member, while avoiding increase of the number of components, and to prevent tilting of the wheel speed sensor in an insertion hole, in a wheel speed detection device wherein a housing equipped with a pulser ring provided on a rotating member rotating together with a wheel and the wheel speed sensor having a detection part facing to the pulser ring on the tip, and comprising a synthetic resin of the wheel speed sensor is inserted into the insertion hole provided on a body side support member and fixed on the support member. SOLUTION: In this wheel speed detection device, at least one stripe of rib 30 arranged on a plane tilted to the axis of the insertion hole 24 is projected elastically close to the whole circumference of the inner face of the insertion hole 24, on the whole circumference of an insertion part of the insertion hole 24 of the housing 28.
