PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing capable of preventing occurrence of a crack due to dropping or the like and the crack due to an impact load when using a product. SOLUTION: The rolling bearing 11 is provided with a bearing ring 14 composed of an inner ring 12 and an outer ring 13, and rolling elements 16 rolling on a raceway of the bearing ring 14. A steel with a structure essentially consisting of a ferrite phase of a mean crystal grain diameter of 10μm or below after hot rolling is used for at least one of the inner ring 12 and the outer ring 13, and the steel is heat-treated to allow at least a surface part to have Vickers hardness of Hv 700 or over.
